Responsibility and commitment

Splenda Leather certifies that its tanning process is developed entirely with plant-based extracts, without the use of chromium or other metals.

Solvent products, PCP, Formaldehyde, pesticides or azo dyes are also not used and all the chemical products used comply with the REACH Regulation.

Splenda Leather uses a system to recirculate tannic baths and minimise wastewater concentration. It is also part of the Igualadina Society for Treatment and Recovery, diverting its wastewater to a treatment plant for the exclusive use of the city’s tanneries and ensuring its proper treatment.
